Zoom Recorders
Sound Advice is pleased to carry the complete line of Zoom hand-held and multitrack digital recorders. These versatile, high quality and very affordable devices allow you to capture live recordings and multitrack sessions starting under two hundred dollars. All are capable of 24 bit 96kHz recording and have various modes of automatic or manual adjustable level control. All of them also function as complete computer interfaces if you want to use them with your computer recording software.The H2 and H4 handheld recorders are capable of four channel modes - the H2 in a form of surround mode with two forward facing and two rear facing mics that can later be be panned for stereo or surround mixes. The H4 allows you to mix the inbuilt stereo mics for room sound with two external sources for a rich live mix.
The Q3 is a high quality handheld audio recorder with a very capable video camera built in - great for rehearsals, teaching demos or back-up audio for video shoots. It records a 640 x 480 30 fps image.
The R16 is an amazing multitrack machine that records to SD cards or acts as a multitrack interface for your computer. It can simultaneously record eight tracks (with built-in mike pres) and can playback sixteen.
